Now for my recommendations….If you scrolled this far, you must care about my two cents. Thanks!

Hands down, my go to place is OC Surf Cafe. Chef Mike, is the absolute best guy and I’ve known him since high school, so about 15 years. Not only is his food on point, he is no question the nicest, down to earth guy in the restaurant industry. I am a little biased since I got to know him so well over the years, but what do you want me to stay? 🙂

But I will say, every place on this list is terrific because I’ve been to them all. Kessel’s, Hooked on, Dockside, Yianni’s, Readys, all great!

As for donuts! I would say it depends on what you’re looking for. Hot and fresh apple cider donuts, Brown’s or Ove’s. Both in the north end on the boardwalk, they are must try’s. Looking for extravagant toppings and Instagramable donuts, head to Fractured Prune or Nauti Donuts. Again, all places I listed are awesome. You cannot go wrong choosing one over the other.
